School without racism – School with courage

School without racism – School with courage (Schule ohne Rassismus – Schule mit Courage) (SOR-SMC) is a project of and for school children, who want to fight against all kinds of discrimination, especially racism and who want to contribute to a non-violent, democratic society. If a school wants to become an SOR-SMC, the children’s own will and initiative will be needed in order to take action within the meaning of the project. The pupils have to decide in which form they will fulfill the formal conditions of the participation in the project, namely to collect signatures of at least 70% of all members of a school (pupils, teachers, social pedagogues, secretaries, caretakers etc.).
Since 2007 the RAA has been responsible for the state-wide coordination of SOR-SMC in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern  and is available for interested as well as already involved schools. Once a year the state coordination organizes a meeting of all SOR-SMC
